Here is the whole thing, start to finish. Most of the work is in the middle.
Will it work on my TV?
If your TV runs Google TV or Android TV, yes — and so do iPhones, iPads, Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, and Windows and Mac computers.
Roku, Fire TV, Samsung and LG will not work on their own. It is worth knowing that before you buy, not after. The apps we use do not run reliably on Roku or Fire TV, and Samsung and LG run their own systems we have no app for.
The good news is you do not need a new television. A small streaming device, about twenty dollars at Walmart, plugs into any spare HDMI port and sorts it out. Your TV carries on exactly as it does now for everything else.
What you will need
- Your Wi-Fi password. If nobody has ever typed it in, it is printed on a sticker on the router.
- A Google account. The streaming device will not install anything until you sign in to one. Far easier to sort out on a phone first than on a TV.
- About fifteen minutes, and an internet connection of roughly 15 Mbps for HD or 25 Mbps for 4K.
Which app you will use
You install it once, from the app store your device already has.
- iMPlayer — Google TV and Android TV. The one we recommend. TiviMate also works well.
- UHF IPTV Player — iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
- iMPlayer or MyTvOnline+ — Android phones and tablets.
- IPTV Smarters Expert — Windows computers. IPTV Smarters Pro works too.
On a TV, phone or tablet, expect to pay the app’s one-off unlock fee. It is a single payment rather than a subscription, it goes to the app maker and not to us, and it is nothing to do with your TVMax plan. On a Windows computer it is usually free.
If you need a streaming device
We recommend the onn. range from Walmart — cheap, simple, and in almost every store. Any of the three plays TVMax; they differ in picture and speed.

Follow the checkout process to create your account and enter your billing and payment information.
Once your order is complete, you’ll receive an email containing your TVMax login details and setup instructions.
2️⃣ Choose Your Device
TVMax works on a wide range of devices — so you can watch wherever you like.

3️⃣ Install a Streaming App
To watch TVMax, you’ll need an IPTV player app.
These apps are free or low-cost and available in your device’s app store.
Recommended apps:
TiviMate — for Google TV and Android TV devices (Google Play Store)
UHF IPTV Player — for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV (Apple App Store)
IPTV Smarters Expert — for Windows computers (Microsoft Store)
If your TV doesn’t support these apps directly (e.g., Roku or Firestick), simply connect a Google TV streaming device (like the onn. 4K box below) to your TV.
It’s a one-time setup that unlocks all compatible apps.
Each app supports the Xtream Codes login method, which connects directly to TVMax.cc using the details you’ll receive by email.
4️⃣ Get Your TVMax Login Info
After subscribing, you’ll receive an email containing your TVMax connection details — including your server address (URL), username, and password.
You’ll use these to connect your chosen app to TVMax.
Follow these steps carefully:
Open your IPTV player app (TiviMate, UHF IPTV Player, IPTV Smarters Expert, etc.).
Look for an option such as “Add Playlist”, “Add Profile”, or “Add New Connection.”
The exact wording depends on the app, but they all mean the same thing.
When prompted to choose a playlist type, select “Xtream Codes” or “Xtream Codes API.”
Do not select M3U or any other option.
You’ll now see three fields to fill in:
Server Address (URL): Enter the TVMax server link exactly as shown in your email.
Username: Enter the username provided in your email.
Password: Enter the password provided in your email.
Save or confirm the connection.
The app will now connect to TVMax and automatically load your channel list and program guide.
5️⃣ Start Watching
Once your details are entered, your channel list and program guide will load automatically.
From there, you can:
